What is the maximum email attachment size?

We generally operate a 50MB limit for email message size. Many ISPs block messages larger than 20MB, so a 50MB limit is substantial.

If you wish to send and receive large files, consider using a service like wetransfer.com or a cloud-based filing-sharing service like DropBox or OneDrive.

Email was never intended or designed to be a large file transfer protocol.
